How to convert video files with MPEG Encoder Ultimate

Here’s a simple tutorial on how to convert MPEG files to another format:

1.       Run ImTOO MPEG Encoder Ultimate

2.       Click Add File button on the toolbar or "File > Add File" to load files.

3.       Choose output format
Click the file you wish to convert, choose from the Profile drop-down menu to choose the format to encode to.

·         If you’re not sure what file format your device supports, there’s a list of device format to choose from. 

4.       Destination

Click Browse button to choose destination folder for saving output files.

5.       Click Convert button and you’re done!

Tips and Tricks:

1.       Clip video segment

To clip a video, highlight the video you want to clip and click the Clip button by the toolbar.

·         Set the start and end point of the clip you want to retain. You can create as many clips by selecting the New Clip.

·         You may choose to merge several clips into one.

·         Choose the sequence of the clips by Move Up or Move Down buttons.

 

2.       Bitrate Calculator

You may specify the file size you want to output to by using the bitrate calculator (Tools >Bitrate Calculator).

With the bitrate calculator, you can speficy the exact file size you wish to convert to.

3.       Add another profile for the same source video

Select the video and click the "Add Profile" to set additional output format from the source file. Load as many files and convert to different formats as you wish.

4.       Additional options and parameters

Set an action after a task is done so you can leave it to do its work without wasting time waiting for it.

Advanced Settings

There’s an option to tweak the advanced settings by clicking the Advanced Profile Settings .
